Our Chicago Home Makeover

Below are some design renovations I did for our previous home in Chicago. It was a 1970’s house that needed a lot of attention. I like to use our previous home and our current home as a way for me to showcase my design ideas and the potential each room has. My process starts with a mood board and then I often do an eDesign for each space. This gives me a blueprint to follow while I shop and work!

What People Are Saying

“We hired Marissa for her hourly service. From start to finish, she listened to our ideas for our lower level and she came up with the perfect vision. We couldn’t be happier! ”

— Jenny K.

“Marissa helped us update our guest bedroom. She had a vision of what it could look like and designed that in a “board” so that we could see it. Marissa listened to our ideas and worked with our budget and furniture pieces that we wanted to continue to use. She suggested changes that really gave the room a much more modern look. We absolutely love it, and so do the family and friends that we share it with.”

— Vicky H.

“I’ve told everyone I truly feel Marissa listened to everything I said I needed and she came up with creative ways to make a really cool room that I love!”

— Emily E.
