English Whiskey Lounge Downstairs

This room is extra special to me because it’s the largest space in our home and I wanted it to be dramatically different than the rest. My goal was to create a moody escape that you relax in without technology, just conversation, and the environment. Since we have a tri-level home, this room is attached to the kitchen and you can see down into it from the kitchen. It is technically the second living room in the home. There is a wet bar and a fireplace in the room.

I challenged myself with this design by mixing materials, choosing dark colors, mixing patterns, and pulling together a vintage English whiskey lounge vibe.
