Curb Appeal
When we first bought our house I had big plans for the exterior. However, those plans shifted after we took a closer look at what it would cost and the ROI of the updates within our neighborhood. I still wanted to give the front of our house a facelift using paint and some fresh landscaping.
I decided to paint our front door/storm door, garage door, our concrete steps, and touch up our railing. I painted our doors first in the color Dragonfly by Behr, it turned out a bit brighter than I initially wanted, but I’m happy with how it changes with the sun. Our garage door was in good shape but was super faded and brown. By painting it a semi-gloss black it looked brand new. Lastly, I wanted to fix the cement on our stairs leading to the front door. After repairing that, I painted a subtle runner pattern in beige and white to draw your eye up to our front door and distract from the things I couldn’t change like our railing.
The last thing we did was give our landscaping a new look with black mulch, a different shape, and new plants.
